I just don’t get why you strongly disagree. It rarely happens and takes little time to review the time and hand signal by coach.

It’s an easy fix. Anything that can improve the game is a good fix. How often has this happened in the last 10 years? I actually can’t remember one so just add it in case and move on. Not a big deal

Shams has said that the offer is D-Lo, the 2029 #1 and a pick swap. He says the holdup is a landing spot for D-Lo. Says his recent play has increased the chances of finding a 3rd team.

As for the Donovan Michell/Trae Young stuff...according to Dave McMenamin...the Lakers have had internal discussions about waiting until the off season and looking at trading 3 firsts plus players currently on the roster for 1 of them. He claimed that Mitchell is expected to decline his player option after next season.

Mitchell will likely decline his option. That is kind of a no brainer. That doesnt mean he would not re sign with Cleveland. But again look at this from the Cavs perspective. they are in win now mode. Why would they deal Mitchell for just draft picks? Sure we saw Philly do this with Harden but he is not the asset Mitchell is at this stage.

The Cavs are going to want a piece that can help then win now if it actually came to dealing Mitchell. The Lakers have nothing that fits that bill.

Amick doesn’t have a good reputation. That being said, Mitchell declining his option literally means nothing. Honestly, we won’t know more until next season.
This depends on how far the Cavs get in the playoffs the next two seasons and if he thinks they can win.
