What kind of fuckery is this, I don't know many who think '79 was Bear's best team or that 2009 was Saban's. Nor do I think '71 was anywhere close to Nebraska's best team.

Shit, looking at the list, it seems to me the only schools they got right might be 2018 Clemson and 2005 Texas, outside of that, I think most have better teams further down the list.

I'm surprised 2018 Bama is #87. They didn't win the title, but others on here are higher on the list without titles. Bama dominated and in my opinion, should at the very least be one of the highest rate to not win a title/go undefeated.

I also think 95 Nebraska should be #1 instead of 71 Nebraska, but I can settle with this lol.

Yeah, I think 95 Nebraska is the team to beat. I do think that 71 is probably the 2nd best Nebraska team. 1983 was really good too (at #36). I would also agree about Bama. I actually think the 2018 Bama team is significantly better than the 2009 team, but I can understand the 09 team being ranked higher since they claimed the title.

Funny that Michigan doesn't even have a mention until #43.... which happens to be their 97 team. Meanwhile, 97 Nebraska is #24. As I said, 97 Nebraska was better annnnnd Michigan is a pretender in the blue blood category, maybe a periwinkle blood.

Although I am personally a fan of the '83 team...I wanted to be Tom Rathman as a young lad, '95 is probably the winner.

To me 2011 is the best Alabama team at 51, followed by '92(21)

It was pretty random, but then 150 is pretty random. It’s hard to compare across eras.

It is, but they have some cool teams that need to remembered like 1902 Michigan, 1905 Chicago (Walter Eckersal), 1942 Grambling, 1945 Alabama, 1973 Michigan, 1973 Ohio State, 1975 Ariz. State, and 1988 Miami (Fla.)(Schedule was INSANE) to name a few.

They have 1984 BYU (13-0) at #146. People raised hell about them being crowned National Champions. That would've been one helluva year to have an 8-team playoff. It was kind of a fucked up year. Florida (9-1-1) finished #3, but they were on probation. BYU turned out to be the only unbeaten team that year. Their schedule was pathetic. They played one ranked team all season--#3 Pitt who ended up going 3-7-1.

(3)Pitt (3-7-1)
Baylor (5-6)
Tulsa (6-5)
Hawaii (7-4)
Colorado St (3-8)
Wyoming (6-6)
Air Force (8-4)
New Mexico (4-8)
UTEP (2-9)
San Diego St (4-7-1)
Utah (6-5-1)
Utah St (1-10)
Michigan (6-6)

Could they have gotten through this.....? I doubt it.
(1)BYU (12-0) vs (8)Oklahoma St (9-2)
(4)Nebraska (9-2) vs (5)Ohio St (9-2)

(2)Oklahoma (9-1-1) vs (7)Boston College (9-2)
(3)Washington (10-1) vs (6)South Carolina (10-1)

You have to judge it from the times the games were played. 1971 was the greatest Nebraska team, based on that, and, IMO, the greatest of all time. As for Bama, I always like the 2011 team.

You have to judge it from the times the games were played. 1971 was the greatest Nebraska team, based on that, and, IMO, the greatest of all time. As for Bama, I always like the 2011 team.
Interestingly, I didn't care for the 2011 Alabama team (style wise), but I loved the 2012 team - which had much more flair (Amari Cooper helped!) and opened the year kicking Michigan's butt and ended the year kicking Notre Dame's butt! What was not to like?

As for Ohio State, the 2002 team that I saw play @ Cincinnati is one of my favorite CFB teams of all time. I think the list is cool with all of the old teams in it, but I 100% agree with your point about not being able to cross compare eras very well.
