Maybe IKF at 3B

Defensively he seems to be good enough but offensively his numbers have been lacking. That being said he seems like he's remade himself at the plate over the winter so they might give him the spot to start off the season. If he can hit 15-20 HRs and 70-80 RBIs then you have what you were getting from Beltre the last 5 years or so. And folks seemed to be happy with that, if he does better leave him there and screw signing/trading for a high dollar FA.

The Mariners are scheduled to start their season at home March 26 against the Rangers, but it’s possible that series (and perhaps some ensuing sets) will take place outside of Seattle. With the coronavirus outbreak taking a toll on Seattle, the Mariners might temporarily play regular-season home games at their spring training facility in Arizona, Evan Drellich of The Athletic reports (subscription link). That scenario could become more likely on Wednesday, when Washington Gov. Jay Inslee is expected to restrict all gatherings of 250-plus people in Seattle and other areas in the state, according to the Seattle Times. It’s unknown how long that restriction will last, but with just over two weeks left until the M’s season starts, there seems to be a growing likelihood that they’ll host their opener away from T-Mobile Park.

Sounds like a wise decision. Good post.

I've heard that switching the series is being considered as well, which would throw my Opening Day plans into chaos.

He was pretty decent at the plate when he first came up. Hit everything with authority. When they had him start catching it really affected him.

to be honest,

I don’t care where. As long as our team is playing ball on those days.

Astros just lost their Opening Series in Houston. Really worried we are the next domino to fall.
