I think it's a great hire for Texas. Other than getting Nick Saban I'm not sure there was a better candidate for the job than Strong.

FWIW, I hear Strong is not much for glad-handing the boosters and apparently that's a big part of the job at Tay-has. Guess we'll see if he can adjust; tough to change your persona, IMO.

Only thing that matters to Texas is winning. If Strong does that for them the boosters will learn to suck it up and deal with him.
