it was fun just to watch this tool completely fuck up a game. A great game that leads up to the bad ass closer ( although it wasn't a save situation) and he choked like a pig. His days is Philly are nearly over and whoever ends up with him will regret it.

Was a real treat.

Knowing my Tigers won't be trading for him is even better.

What I thought was even funnier was the way the MLB Network guys were talking about him being a premium reliever who may end up on a contending team while he is shitting in his pants in the 9th.

Trade him to the Cards...............................please.

I agree with the prevailing sentiment here. He is another one of the poser players the Phillies have and it would not be surprising if he gets traded. It was a complete screw-up of a game and I wouldn't mind if he moved along to ply his ridiculous trade for somebody else.

Makes me enjoy the fact that the Tigers dealt for Soria instead. And after four months of Joe Nathan and Jose Valverde's final 1.5 seasons, we know all about closer implosions in Detroit.

I definitely enjoyed it. Made it even better that Bumgarner is on my fantasy team and he got the win that he deserved (apologies to those who own AJ). LOL

My Tigers already have a useless closer. No worries of having two.

Bumgarner threw a great game , I was happy to see him get the win also. I don't care about either team but Bumgarner deserved that one and Papelbon was polite enough to put icing on the cake for all of our enjoyment

The irony would be if he was traded to the Yankees but hey then you can waych him all of the time

It's a shame he's such an insufferable hick. He was a pretty great reliever for a while (271 ERA+, 5.20 K/BB and 0.92 WHIP in 264 innings from 06-09)

There are zero highlights of it on the MLB app. Gotta scroll through the condensed game, but I GOTTA see this.
