If we even win 1 of those 4 it would be huge for us down the road.

Of those 4, Minnesota is really the only realistic chance.

We always suck against Cretin so I'll go ahead and chalk that one up as an L.

Kansas will fuck our shit up.

Sparty on the road.....who knows. Weird things happen there for us.

There is a very real chance that Huskers could start 0-5 in conference.

What do we count, 10 'should be' wins there.

This program is like Jekyll and Hyde. I have no idea what to think. When we lost Jacobson, Horne and Morrow after last season I was like "oh shit".

And then you hear that this is probably Tim Miles' most talented roster yet. So now I'm like, okay we have a shot at going dancing.

Then you see the B1G Media picking us 13th in the conference and I'm back to "oh shit".

Then you look at the schedule and I'm like "oh shit"

I guess I'm just hoping that the media doesn't know shit

Not knowing much about our opponents yet, especially the non-con, I see about 13 total wins in there. Maybe add in 1 or 2 more if we get lucky and surprise some people. I'd say at best we're 15-14 with 7-8 wins coming in the non conference, meaning 7 wins in conference, best case scenario. That's not gonna get you an invite to the dance.

Pretty much how I see it.
I do believe this is the most talent Nebraska's ever had on the court. However, that won't mean much if 10 other Big 10 teams have equal or greater talent.
Also need to consider coaching. I've lost confidence in sMiles being a good coach. I base that on Nebraska occasionally losing to teams they should beat.

Don't think we have to worry about Miles and staff being involved with this latest NCAA scandal and the FBI. Willing to bet no recruit every got talked into coming here. Even a bribe wouldn't get them to come here.
3-somes then

The games I'm not sure about are St. John's (14-19 last year), UCF (24-12 last year), Boston College (9-23) last year. Hopefully you win at least 2 of those 3.

If you can't beat the likes of North Texas, North Dakota, Stetson etc...then who gives a shit what the rest of the season looks like.

Nebraska SHOULD beat Rutgers twice, Illinois twice, get at least one against Penn State, hopefully Iowa at home, Indiana at home. That's 7 wins there and even that's a stretch.

We really need Roby to take a big step forward this year.

To me he has the most potential to be a big time player for us. I don't think he even came close last season to what he's capable of doing.

He's certainly put work in during the offseason. Roster shows he's put on 12 pounds since last year which he needed to do and it shows.

I also am interested to see the development of Tshimanga from last year to this year. Hoping he's learned some finesse and can stay out of foul trouble.

Anton Gill too. Hell there's a handful of players I'm interested in seeing improvement from

I don't think we'll finish 13th.

They're underestimating us due to Tai graduating. We have a lot of talent and most of these guys got a butt load of playing time last season.

I could see us around 10th or so, but I don't see us finishing at the bottom.

Either way, there is about a 90% chance that Moos has to fire and hire two coaches just a few months apart from each other.

Is anything short of making the dance a death sentence for Miles?

I would settle for 18 wins and NIT if a couple of those wins were good and no real embarrassments.
