Comparing past SB to a Pro Bowl is ridiculous and wrong on so many levels. Hello? These teams played in a SB not that pansy ass Pro Bowl crap. Funny that people are reluctant to take a step back and look objectively at this stuff. Both teams were smoking on offense, which made the defenses weaker by default.

Stop it. Those games didn’t have you on the edge of your seat all game like last Sunday.

The difference is you're not a fan of those teams that were listed so you think differently about those games.

Maybe it’s semantics but doesnt “best” mean most exciting. I can’t think of a more exciting SB then this last one.

This is just blind homerism at its finest. Obviously you're going to think it was one of the most exciting games ever when your favorite team just won the Superbowl after going 14-2 and sailing through the playoffs with a backup QB. I can name several recent Superbowl games that were just as "exciting" as this one in their own right.

Superbowl 51 - New England 34, Atlanta 28 with Pats down 28-3 at the half in one of the most epic chokes in NFL history by the Falcons.

Superbowl 49 - New England 28, Seattle 24 with the game ending on Seattle's horrendous decision to pass instead of handing the ball off the Marshawn Lynch at the 1 yard line.

Superbowl 47 - Baltimore 34, San Francisco 31. San Fran down big at the half, the stadium lost power at halftime due to the ridiculous halftime show lights, and Baltimore barely hung on to win after a huge comeback by San Fran in the second half.

That's just a few games that were just as "exciting" as this Philly/New England one. Yeah it was a solid game, but let's not act like it was the greatest game of all time.

They keep calling it a fumble by Brady when I give credit to the Eagles for stripping it. It was far more an excellent defensive play than it was an offensive mistake.

I actually thought the game was shit.

Zero defense from either team. Was like a fuggin Arena ball game.

The only thing that impressed me was the ginormous set of balls Pederson has.

It was a great game. But my problem with this being called one of the best SBs ever: there were so many scores that they didn't feel as important as they usually do. Often times in a SB you think any one TD is a huge game changer and a big blow to the team that gave it up. This game was kind of like...OK, now let's see how many more scores the other guys are now going to put up.....and so on and so on. Plus, it was more a fantasy football, marginal fan type game that just wants points. Don't most real Football fans kind of look at that as one of the problems with the modern game?

Yes, of course it was a fumble so there's that...

Probably true.

It is. For me the greatest SB was the victory over Denver but for most other fans it was probably boring as hell. I love football so other SB's mentioned above I was on the edge of my seat and didn't really have a rooting interest as I was looking for just a great game to watch cause that's the last one until Sept.

Yes, of course it was a fumble so there's that...

So in last year's SB Donte Hightower didn't strip Ryan of the ball, Ryan fumbled.

Got it.

In the record books, is it considered a Brady fumble?

Yup, as are all strips as well as INT's (even if it is the WR batting the ball to a defender). Same with an RB messing up the hand off, still credited as a fumble to the QB most (maybe even all) of the time.
