Suns exploring trade for Pau Gasol

My guess is the Suns are willing to give up Indy's pick which will be in the 28-30 range, but the Lakers are going to try to get a better pick and that's what's holding the trade back for now.

I think once they realize they won't do much better anywhere else they'll cave and do Pau for Okafor, the Pacers pick and a future second rounder or something.

That sounds about right.

Not quite a contender, but that's a very solid lineup. Might not take but a couple of tweaks. Gives the Suns an inside threat that they haven't had since Truck Robinson!!

Okay, maybe they've had a couple since then, but you know what I mean!!

Minnesota has 6'11'' Nikola Pekovic who averages 18 points and 9 rebounds a game.

Yes and Pekovich is a center with Gasol in the power forward position, and Kevin Love, the Minnesota would have the big three like other teams that could jump start them and I have heard them talk - they would love to have Gasol.

I disagree - Lets give them both Gasol and Nash for one of their first round draft picks. That way the Lakers dump both Gasol and Nash and drop below the salary cap all together and unloads 27 million dollars being spent on a lost season. In fact The only reason you want the draft pick at all is because Gasol has been stated that he likes the idea because it would give him a fresh chance to restart his career.
