Did anyone who was watching the draft notice that after Tuitt was selected, and they were showing highlights of his great plays, they showed the play against Pittsburgh where he tackled the QB and got kicked out of the game for targeting. It was so clear that it was a crap call, it still drives me crazy. Just thought I'd vent about it.

I was kind of hoping Green Bay would take Niklas but Arizona took him right before we picked. We did get a pretty good receiver but was hoping that maybe they could land him. With Finley gone we really need another TE and I thought Troy would have been a good fit. Oh well.

Congrats. Nix is really kicking himself now. Should of stayed buddy.

Well both Nix and Tuitt should have stayed but they didn't and I can't fault them for it. Personally I'm not excited about the Niners Draft Ward and Hyde are by far the best players.

I disagree with the Nix should have stayed argument. He had 4 years of quality play, even accounting for the down year last year due to injury, he had a great 2012 season. His real problem is he's a pure NT. Great at absorbing blockers in the run game but not much of a pass rush threat. With where the league is going, you need more mobile pass rushing tackles. Don't believe me, how may rb's were taken in first 2 rounds? There very nearly weren't any. It's a passing league more than ever and Nix's skill set makes him a 2 down lineman. Another year wouldn't have changed any of that and risked injury.
