No wonder Russell struggled after the finger injury last year. If his hands are that big, one finger is like 15% of his total mass. That's a pretty serious injury in my book.

Pickett did fumble alot @FaCe-LeE-uS ALOT. Dunno that the playing at pitt thing plays well here
Yea but when watching the fumble reels you can’t tell me that QBs with larger hands wouldnt have fumbled the majority of the same hits/strips. Pickett’s fumble problems have a lot to do with his progressions & the way he plays. Pickett loved the intermediate to deep window; always keeping his eyes down the field and waiting for plays to develop which made him more susceptible to sacks.

He does. He holds the ball, thats part of his issue. But yes i somewhat agree

This is devastating for Kenny Pickett, because we don't know how he might perform in adverse weather in a place like Pittsburgh.

Oh wait...

I really hope Pickett slips a bit and Philly can snag him with one of its 3 picks in the middle of the first round. I read someone online recently describe Pickett as a Kroger-brand Justin Herbert, and while I think that is pretty accurate, I would take Kroger-brand Justin Herbert over Jalen Hurts, at least as another option.

It seems Pickett has performed better in terms of reducing fumbles since he started using gloves and so maybe the hand size was an issue on that.

Also, The Ringer and other publications have looked into the correlation between hand size and fumbles and have basically found it doesn't exist. It's probably a factor IMO but far less of a factor than other things such as whether a QB is mobile, how they feel pressure, etc.

What’s worse a midget at QB or a QB with tiny hands?

Reasons why men with big hands and heads and feet are so sought after by women. They need big gloves, hats, and shoes. And they pay for it.
