I love Star Trek.
Watched the original series every week.
TNG
DS9
Voyager
all really good
Enterprise wasn't all that great, but had it's moments.

They can do either of those concepts that are talked about and either will be successful if, IF, the stories and the writing come together. There are so many possibilities that's it's wide open.

Hope they do something though. Good SciFi is hard to come by.

I would prefer that they don't try to do a Kirk/Spock/McCoy thing because it will always be compared to the original cast. Open it up and create new characters, but knowing Hollywood, they won't be going out on a limb, so probably will be conservative in concept and will be disappointing in the end.

It's funny because the movie reboot did such a great job with those. The new McCoy and Scotty are just hilarious.

I liked all the Star Treks except DS9. I even thought Enterprise wasn't bad. Liked the hot Vulcan from that show.
