You can never take anything Comeds says at face value.

I think yesterday's win has much more significance thanit would if TB had finished ahead of Montreal.

If they are up 3-1 heading back to TB, Montreal is in trouble.

But now they have to go back to Montreal after effectively being out played the last 2 games.

I don't see Montreal losing Game 5 unless they face plant.

So Game 6 will be the big one.

I love flip flopping....

Nice win boys.

Are Tampa's jerseys made out of paper?

It is beyond me how an agitating team like Montreal can escape a game like that without being shorthanded a single time. If Callahan did what Gallagher is allowed to do by those striped clowns, he would be out every second shift. Emelin. And then they call interference on Nesterov for being in the way of Lars Eller in the neutral zone? Ah, right. It's Montreal.

The league needs this sorry excuse for a hockey team to go deep. Thought only hard work gets you places, here we see that moaning and wailing does the job as well. As long as you are the Montreal Canadiens.

They would have been shorthanded right at the beginning of the game if Johnson had not embellished a legitimate hook. The fact was that after the first 10 minutes the Canadiens carried the play and outworked the Lightning. If one wants to nitpick, I did see other things that could have been called on both teams.

A flip side to Gallagher is what players get away with on him. After PK took a bad penalty in game too numerous posters (including yourself) felt the need to chime in about how stupid and dirty is was. Virtually the same thing has been done to Gallagher numerous times without calls or complaints in the following few games.

What pray tell does the Canadiens going deep do for the league? And lastly, they are far from the most talented team in the league but if you don't think they are hard working you are not watching them.

The good news for you is that the Habs played about as well as they could Saturday and barely won, so the odds of them winning in Tampa tomorrow is not very good IMO.

So if TB doesn't pull this off, do Stamkos and the Bolts get labelled as "unable to do it in the playoffs" in the same vein OV and the Caps were for the first few years of his career (despite the fact he averaged 1.04 PPG in his first 4 playoffs)?

And Ovechkin's playoff PPG was phenomenal and he was still considered soft or not leadership material or whatever the Don Cherry's of the world decided to label the commie bastard.
