If felt bad for the kid but at the same time you can't underestimate what that win meant to Harrington today. I would never have realized it with out hearing him after the win.

It's been a pretty far fall for a guy who has 3 Majors. You can feel a bit of the pain in the interview below.

I did like the way Harrington came back with the brilliant shot on the same hole that gave him a double bogey two holes previously. Seemed though that the others gave it away moreso than Harrington took it. Did you notice though that Harrington missed that little two-footer on the winning playoff hole? The other kid was so bad that Harrington still won.

Harrington was putting like a 75 y/o chain smoker...I was surprised to hear that he won. He is a great interview though...very candid.

Even though there was a playoff ..you could say he fell backwards over the finish line in this one.

But it's still a huge difference from they way he has been playing, which is getting lost on the way to the race.

Exactly...Harrington is still capable of hitting good golf shots from time to time, but I don't view this win as any kind of resurgence. He has as good a chance as Tiger to win another major...which in the near term is slim and none.

True, I'm happy for the guy...likeable fella from the media exposure I've seen, but imo he's done as a top tier player.
