Isn't Parra on the DL ? If they can't Hide someone like that, is send Hoover back, make Leake the long reliever and keep Congrani in the rotation.

I think I'd DFA Simon instead of sending Hoover down.

Saw Cingani pitch today--he is major league ready. This kid can pitch and will help the Reds immensely.

He has that "eye of the tiger" going for him. I think he'll be something special in the future.

The guy who seems redundant is Ondrusek. That would shove Leake into the long role.

Can you image having Cueto, Latos, Bailey, Chapman, and Cingrani as the starting 5?

I think I just came a little

If they had a rotation like that, me, JohnU and Hub could anchor the
Bullpen. Dusty doesn't agree though. Walt may have to step in and put his foot down, before Dusty changes what he started with. So far, Dusty is wearing the pants (backwards) in that relationship.

That could very well be the rotation next season. Arroyo is on the last year of his contract and he will be 38 next season. Leake could be put into a long relief position in the BP. It all depends on if Chapman wants to make the move to starter. With the opening next season, he may very well be put into that spot without a choice.

I'd have agree Beggs. The statement "It all depends on if Chapman wants..." is what doomed the move this season. When Chapman publicly stated he'd rather close, it was a done deal. I'm not sure we'll ever see him in the rotation.

Gotta move Leake out to the pen for LR. Really not worth comparing Leake and Arroyo's numbers, as Arroyo had a bad outing that inflated his ERA early in the year. That is typically his MO.

Cueto, Latos, Bailey, Chap, Cingrani would really give this team ZERO excuses

Dusty cried all winter about how hard it would be for Chapman to start, and what they would do about limiting his innings. You don't think he was whining to Chapman the whole time ? Chapman was a starter before signing with the Reds. This is the same lame trick as last spring. It had Dusty all over it. Dusty doesn't do change. I bet his underwear rots off him.

If Cingrani Keeps up what he is doing right now,They will send Mike Leake to Minors,I dont think sending anybody or doing anything with the pen is the answer.

Last spring? You mean when he was going to be in the rotation and our closer goes out for the year? Yea, Dusty planned that perfectly because he knew it would cost us games. I bet you have even heard Dusty is the one that caused the injury.

They also didn't sign a HEALTHY closer to a 3 year deal last year. Although they DID sign an unhealthy one in Madson... OBVIOUSLY with the intent to put Chapman in the rotation.I just meant this is the 2nd year where Dusty didn't follow Walt's desire to start Chapman.
