So which hole do we try to fill with our top 5 pick at the end of the year?

Do we go with a LT? Maybe Ronnie Stanley from Notre Dame

Do we go with a DE? Maybe Joey Bosa from Ohio State

Do we go with a DT? Maybe Robert Nkimdeche from Mississippi

Do we go with a QB? Maybe Jared Goff from Cal (he looked Stafford'esque this weekend)

Do we go with a RB? Maybe Ezekiel Elliot from Ohio State

So many holes to fill, so few draft choices. Pretty sad that 5 games into the season, my only thoughts on the Lions is who we can draft for next season.

How could I forget CB and Mayhew's favorite TE position?

CB -- Jalen Ramsey -- Florida State

TE -- THANK GOD. They don't have any TE's projected to go in the 1st round this year, so hopefully we won't see a 3rd TE drafted in the 1st round in Mayhew's time as GM.

Millen finally hit solidly with his third WR. Just saying....

Hopefully Millenhew understands they have issues getting the ball to the weapons they do have now, so adding another would be counter-productive.

Then again -- we spent a top 10 pick on a TE after re-signing our top 20 pick TE right before the draft. So who knows? I will list it just in case.

WR -- LeQuan Treadwell -- Mississippi

CB or DT. Not sure these young middle round picks can cut it. Dont need superstars but have to have guys that can hold up. CB to me is Big. Slay is a good number 2, but not really good enough to be a number 1. Mathis needs to be replaced before the AARP finds out and brings up a lawsuit.

Slay is the least of my worries on defense. I think he is plenty good enough to be a #1. He isn't going to be a lock down CB like only a handful of guys are, but I have no issues with him.

The other side of the field though -- we definitely need to find a replacement.

DT is our biggest hole. But you can't pass on Bosa.

Bro, I've been thinking this since the second Suh left.

Bro, I've been thinking this since the second Suh left.

When he left I was first thinking what DT can we get early.

I was also thinking pair a really good DE with Ziggy before going DT. Why I feel Bosa would be a beast.

Malcom Brown was my pick this year. I think everyone forgets that because I make light of Suh leaving. The reality is we lost 3 DTs. Not that Brown is lighting it up but he is better than Wright so far. Not that Wright is terrible either. Reid has been a disappointment versus the run IMO. I thought Walker played pretty well. I am not impressed with Ngata.

Gotta go QB.

Stafford is completely toast at this point.

I would say DT but I feel Mayhew is going to give Ngata a contract extension soon.

I think an upgrade at LT would go the furthest to fix the issues with this team. Particularly if Rieff proves himself an upgrade over Waddle. My guess is he'd win the job based on availability alone.

We get it. You love Suh. Your troll act is getting old and tired. I don't even have to heart to mess with you anymore. Just talk football.

I agree with this. Draft a LT you can plug in for the next 10 years. Move Reiff to RT. I think that would give the team the biggest upgrade.
