Phillies got Roy Oswalt in a deal today. What should the Braves do? I would say go get a bat, but I really don't know where there is a big enough hole and a big enough improvement out there at that position. I mean, I expect them to go get an arm for the pen, but then what else? Get an OF? Who?

Whatever is decided, I feel a whole more nervous about this divison crown

Yeah Braves definitely need a bat. Just someone damnit!!!! I'm so pissed that they nearly collapsed. Oh well I think we take 3 of 4 from Cincy. I heard they are looking at Josh Willingham and Marlon Byrd
This is why MLB needs a salary cap though. I've said it for years ever since the Yanks would buy everybody

eh, not surprised they didn't do much. Ankiel and Farnsworth were acquired from Kansas City. Ankiel may give them a little pop, but it's not that big of a pick up. Farnsworth is another arm in a very good Pen this year. But as I said in the OP, there isn't a gaping hole in the lineup, so that's why a bigger deal wasn't made

Well Melky had a crappy play today so Ankiel is gladly welcome by me. I hope he starts right away. AGON is injured too so that's why he's doing so bad right now I'm guessing.
Phillies lost tonight too so we're still 3.5 back
