I don't have all of the data yet for this week, but I am confident in predicting that Mississippi State will be #1 on my computer after this weekend.

ESPN will be pushing for Florida State so they can advertise it. They definitely won't be pimping the SEC to be #1 the next week.

I agree, based on what Mississippi State has done the past three weeks, against three what were at the time, Top Ten teams, Mississippi State deserves it.

So far, Florida State has beaten three completely defeated in the ACC Conference teams the past three weeks. Syracuse, Wake Forest, and North Carolina State are 0-7 in the ACC.

They might jump FSU for a week considering FSUs current perception when compared to last year. If FSU beats ND though, they will take it right back.

The AP has kept FSU #1 all along, and if they weren't willing to jump anyone above them a few weeks ago, I don't think that changes this week. The Coaches' poll might do it though.

There is so much football yet to be played that i don't think it matters. The top teams will make their cases on the field - including FSU.
