A hitless SS should make a great play, but putting him into the 2 hole because he's a hitless SS is obsessive compulsive bullshit. I've heard if giving a proven player 100 AB to get going, but no one in LF has proven anything positive at the MLB level. JohnU's idea of dropping Cozart to 8th and moving everyone else in the lineup up one spot is perfect, and would be good feedback that hitting against the Cubs, Marlins and Pirates like they are playoff rotations isn't acceptable. Dusty has no testicles though, and is going to run lineup cards with reliable outs until they hit or he's fired. It's why players that play everyday love him. Dusty's no help, but he shows few reprocussions for ineptness either.
