It all boils down to the system your team wants to run today and over the next couple years. Getting 8-12 carries a game + 5-8 catches would be a good workload IMO. Pair him with a bruiser type back, and on the right squad you have the potential to control games and force them to stack the box. I'd love having him in NE. Based on NEs need last season I would not have taken him top 10. Had he been there late 1, I would certainly have had to give it some thought. Even though NE had other more pressing needs.

Yup. 2.4 ypc after 50 attempts with a long of 11 = not an NFL RB. Unless he turns out to be an Edelman type as a receiver that's a bust at #8.

A coaching staff that absolutely insists on giving Jonathan Stewart the ball, a guy whose longest run since 2012 just may be 6 yards
