Acccording to yahoo and kffl skins are going after cj spiller

Dynamic player. But alot of missed time due to injuries.

I am a bit undecided on whether I would want him or not. It would have to be a good price.

There are a lot of teams interested in him. That means his price will go up and be very overpaid. Im think the Jets b/c of Chan Gailey. When healthy can be a dangerous player. Too many RB's in the draft to overpay for a RB in FA.

As a Bills fan he runs wide too often. You hear this a lot about guys like Spiller he is always going for the Home Run. He can get it but the 2 yard carries will be frustrating. Then there are the injuries. Honestly though he has never had a coach who knew how to use him.

I'm shocked that the Skins are interested in Spiller, though I like him. Been a fan, since his Clemson days. A true burner. He's a big play, waiting to happen. However, he stays on the IR a little too much. Somehow, he hasn't been able to avoid the ''bug''. Plus, he's not known for getting the tough yards. Still love his talent. Paying him more than 2 mil per is high for him.

The reality is that RBs are a dime a dozen. Spiller can be good, but he's not going to come cheap. We need a 3rd down back that can not only catch and run, but can pass block. I won't be surprised if Helu comes back. I also won't be surprised if we end up drafting a RB.

When Niles Paul gets $3mil/year you can forget Spiller at less than that. But I tend to agree with j_y, RBs are a dime a dozen. But I wouldn't bring Helu back, dude's pass blocking was a huge part of the problem last year and he sucked on teams too.

I agree about Helu. That's why other teams interest will be tepid.

I agree! Spiller should be had for $1.5 to $2 mil, max. We already got Alfred Morris, so what's the point? Helu's blocking is horrible. I remember that block or lack of that he missed on that blocked punt for a TD against the Texans. Horrible!
