I really can't understand why the coaches or anyone for that matter think that the Pac-12 is better than the Big 12. I'm not sure it's better than the ACC.

At least the ACC has a chance to improve, they still have P5 games to play, outside of Stanford and ND, the Pac-12 has nothing and got drubbed by every ranked team they played...including two B12 teams.

Maybe it's just me, but Group of Five has always sounded so sinister to me.

Bama only drops to 4th in the coaches poll. That's purely just on reputation, not looking at only this season.

Agreed, but I have no problem with it. College football has always been that way, and I actually think it's fair to consider recent seasons because even a full college football regular season is a small sample size.

The PAC is certainly far from good but the ACC flat out sucks. The teams from that conference other than the champs are complete garbage.

There are enough games in a season that you don't need to give teams credit what they did in past seasons.

Nothing about the Pac's performance or the ACC's says that either is filled with very good teams. The Pac might have more in the middle, and be better at the bottom, but nothing indicates they are better at the top. Both Clemson and Wake have better wins than any Pac team.

Boise State has been winning games ugly.

But the other G5 teams will eventually knock each other off, whereas Boise doesn't seem to have as big a challenge in the MWC. It will come down to which teams can win out and make it past their conference championships.
