Should CJ Prosise play against Boston College?

I don't think he should I mean if he wants to help his stats maybe but Josh Adams is pretty good.

He should be able to go. He could have played this week. I'd like to see him get over 1000 on the season. Adams has earned more of a share of the carries so he doesn't need to shoulder the whole load.

Adams did break off that huge run, but outside of that it was clear to see Procise is the much more polished rb. I'm sure he'll be ready to play.

Of course Adams is only a true freshman so that should be taken into account in three years time I expect he'll be much better than Prosise but that is just me.

I think CJ should play against Boston College but should share the workload 50 50 with Adams. CJ needs to be the work horse against Stanford.

Yeah they probably are but at the same time they played Maine, Howard, and Northern Illinois out of conference. Then played Florida State, Clemson, Duke, Louisville, Wake Forest, Virginia Tech, North Carolina State so a few good teams but many of the ACC schools struggle offensively anyway so some of their numbers are inflated by that and the weak out of conference games. I'm not saying they aren't good but they've been giving up more points against actual competition like Notre Dame.

They have a pretty good defense, but teams with comparable offensive units to ours have been able to put points up (Clemson hung 34 on them) NC State put some points on them too. Not at all worried about their dreadful offense. But Kelly's got to get the offense going and not play as conservatively as they did against Wake.

This is BC. They play with a chip on their shoulder against us always and will be insulted that we're playing on their turf at Fenway. Need to get up a couple of scores and it will be over.

If he was cleared to play versus WF, I think another week should give him time to back to full strength. I would play him.

florida st had trouble getting a first down against them. the Clemson game was a defensive battle until bc starting turning the ball over. the d gives up pts because their offense cant stay on the field. our bi-polar let wake forrest have extended drives. this is a lot tougher game than most are expecting

Not saying their defense won't give us fits but our offense >>> fsu's offense.

He needs to play. He adds more to this offense now. He so much better on the edge and he can create when something is not there. Adams is a nice fill in for him, change of pace back. Let Adams run it up the middle and wear these guys down. IMO the playoffs hang in the balance this game. They cannot afford to play like that did last week. They have to dominate, or at least make it look like they did. That Stanford game might not be enough to just win and get in now. I am going to this game, so it should be fun. IMO they need to play their best game of the year on Saturday.

I would sit him. Adams can carry the rock for this game. We need him 100% healthy for Stanford.

I'm working under the assumption that he is 100% healthy. They said he was cleared to play last week, so I'd assume another week would be playing it safe. BC has a really good defense (ranked among the top in the country), and we need to look impressive. Also, Prosise is still new to the RB position, he was recruited as a safety and played receiver until this year, he can use the reps to continue to learn the position. I'm not sure that Stanford's defense will be tougher than BC's, so saving him for Stanford may not make sense. In any event we need to look good in both our remaining games. I know Adams had a bunch of yards but 2/3 came on one play. The bottom line is that the offense didnt look good against Wake Forest, not sure why, but we need to be playing our best players in these last two games. That includes Prosise.

I'm guessing he's as healthy as he's going to be so no reason to sit him. Now maybe more of a split with Adams getting more touches than he has in the past is fine but no reason to hold the kid back.

Have to play him if healthy. There is no next week if you lose this Saturday. Every game is playoff game from here on out. Get your best guys in the lineup. Adams will make this offense better now because he is a diff type of runner, those reps helped. The offense is not the same without CJP, he adds so much more.
