Can't believe how much I am enjoying this show. It started a little slow, but it picked up quickly.

I am sadly not surprised that there has been some criticism within the various woke media that the show about feudal Japan lacks black actors.

But my problem with this show is not really a problem. But it’s the subtitles. Not that I mind subtitles. But a serious story that I have to pay attention to that has subtitles makes this a long watch for me. I can’t binge on it. I watch one episode and I am like no more of that tonight!!!

The 4th episodes was the best yet imo. Just when you think you know what's going to happen...

Having watched all of the episodes a couple of times, I find that I can only watch about 1 or 2 episodes at a time. The subtitles make me pay a lot more attention, but I feel that I'm not seeing the actors facial expressions and other subtle things enough b/c I'm busy reading the subtitles.

Hopefully, this is something that AI will be able to help with. Have the original actors provide the AI-assisted voices in all languages.
