He's really turned some heads and has impressed. I think he's a mid second to high third of course which we do not have at the moment.

No. Trade down from 18 to about 30 and pick up 2nd rounder at roughly #62, or the 30th slot in the 2nd round. Then trade #30 overall down to about #40 which is the 8th selection in round 2. That should net you near #30 in the 3rd round.
So, giving up #18 overall and using #8 in the second round as the 1st pick gets us a #30 in round 2 and a #30 in round 3. Taking him at #62 overall could be the spot to pull the trigger if he is what the team wants.
If Shaquem develops into a 1st round talent, then the above scenario might pan out quite well.
