“I’ve been impressed with Brandon and what he’s done out of the backfield. You’ve got to deal with him, in addition to Danny. You’ve got playmakers all around, so we have to play sound defense.”

Ok, so now he says he was talking about Danny Amendola, not Woodhead. So if so, Amendola really pops in his head as a big concern?

And Bolden has like one carry for two yards. So yeah, you need to deal with him while he watches from the sideline.

How can this guy still be coaching?

That's odd that Fisher doesn't know who the starting running back is for the Patriots. He's a head coach and coached in the NFL since 1994, he should know these things. *facepalm*

I think he's being deliberately obtuse.
Could it be a shot back at BB for praising the Ram's punter as if he was the best player on the Rams? Not saying the punter is/or isn't just wondering if he's being flippant back at BB.

Something along those lines.

No way Fisher is unaware of the Patriots players.

His team is playing the team of the master of flippant.

I simply don't believe he's that out of touch.

Yep, and one coach has earned that right, the other is a career loser who has been around way longer than he should have. Hell, Rex has at least beaten the Patriots a few times, but I can't understand why he keeps poking the bear.

Jeff Fisher must know where the bodies are buried or something with his "winning" record

I'm still surprised Fisher keeps getting and hanging on to jobs.

They are talking about a 1 year extension for Fisher, so I wonder who the Rams think will be coming free next year.

No idea who they could replace him with. Les Miles?

I think he deserves one more chance to make the Rams at least a winning team, because he has not coached a winning season since he's been there.

i think it'd be in the best interest of the Rams if they let Fisher go at season's end. Time to move on from him for sure.

I blame the GM more than Fisher. But Fisher has been an idiot as well.

Nah, I blame Fisher. No matter the OC under Fisher's thumb, the results are the same. He's a defensive coach that won't let the offense breathe for fear of turnovers. He's not a disciplinarian and doesn't seem to have the respect of his team. Sure the Rams have missed badly on a few picks, but some of those (like Austin) I feel would be much better under a more creative offensive mind. That said, picking players like that to be wasted under Fisher is a failure of sorts as well.

Dump Fisher and hire Anthony Lynn from Buffalo. DC can stay if the new coach wants to keep him, but I'm not sold on him either. I don't think he's maximized the talent on this defense either.
