i love vika, too. if she beats serena on the way to another aussie open, or any other major, i'll be happy for her.

Looks like you're making new friends, zero. Serena will probably reach 20 and that's fine. If she doesn't it will because of an injury or lack of focus.

I do not loathe Serena and I am not a pure idiot. Vika is my favorite and I want her to win. That does not mean I hate or loathe Serena. She is my second favorite and I want her to do well. I am just setting up the scenario where Vika is the only true rival standing in Serena's way. Does that make me an idiot or one who loathes Serena? Some of you need to pipe down.

for the ones who consistently go deep in tournaments, they have to be careful with scheduling.

there's a reason the average retirement age for pro tennis is under 30, even thought the vast majority of them make less than $100K per year.

the tennis season is 11 months per year, and despite what dilettante couch potatos think, it's extremely taxing on the body.

i like vika, too, as i said. she's a fighter, and i hope to see here win a lot more majors.

i agree that she's serena's best rival right now, and if anybody were to beat serena in a major final, i'd want it to be vika.

when it comes to actual tennis fans, only idiots and racists hate true greats of the game like serena.

people who fall into those categories aren't exactly subtle.

I like Vika too, but Serena is on a mission! The only way Vika can win the AO again will be if Serena loses to a "nobody" early...which she sometimes tend to do....ie, Lisicki, Sloane, Kerber....! if Serena doesn't win this one, I'll be rooting for Vika too!
