it is a bad publicity move by the NCAA. There has been a lot of SEC bias talk, whether or not it is true is irrelevant. This just feeds the perception. I would have taken someone with non-BCS ties to be the chairman. In an intelligent system, the panel would have consisted of one member from each AQ conference and at least 1 member from outside the AQ conferences. That would have given the perception that the NCAA is unbiased and fair.
I've only heard that bs from whiners like yeo. NCAA don't give a shit about them.
