against Houston we gave up 20

against Indy 10

today 21 pts in the 2nd quarter

also games like tenn and arizona their lone tds...in the second quarter

...another trend that is consistent...seahawks 0 pts in the first quarter in 6 of our 9 games

The reason why we're 8-1...we are one of if not the leading team scoring in the second half

You make a great point, but state the obvious. It doesn't matter how vulnerable you are in the 1st half... it's all about the second.

The problem with, "You don't win games until the 4th quarter," is, you don't win games until the 4th quarter. We should all get used to this. It is part of the philosophy. Everything from game plan, adjustments, player focus can be much better in the earlier quarters so the team can just put it away in the 4th quarter.

Also had special teams break downs against the Colts and Titans in the 2nd quarter as well.

I've noticed we're not very good at taking back to back possessions and using them to our advantage. Mostly using final drives of the 2nd quarter to at least get a FG when we're getting the ball after Halftime. Those are golden opportunities to pad a lead and take ahold of a game but we seem unable to score on either of those possessions.
