Makes sense. Sanchez has been lights out, pitched well last time out in Philly, and it breaks up the righties and lefties. My favorite part of that article is where he reports that Bochy said there's no need for a fifth starter. No duh! LOL!

I think we're all in favor of this decision. I don't think a split in Philly is out of the question, and of course, going up 2-0 would be ideal. I hate the 2-3-2 format, but in this instance, it helps the Giants.

Thanks for the heads up Filo. Personally I don't think it matters that much what order Bochy decides that Sanchez and Cain go in. Rather than trying to shake up their offense by splitting up the righties, I think it would be more important for Bochy to try to shake up our offense.

I like it. Cain is a fly-ball pitcher and may giveup a few cheap-ies in the Bank. Sanchez is a strikeout pitcher and it also gives the R-L-R-L rotation.

Also, Rowand may be replaced by Velez and Mota may be replaced by Runzler or Zito.

I like these ideas, too. I never would've thought that the Giants would have flexibility going into an NLCS. I love sports.
