Pretty crazy to think Sam Bradford warrant's a first round pick. The Vikings are either ALL in this season or they really think Bridgewater might be done.

I have dealt with injuries like that of Bridgewater. My guess is they know it will be a 2-year recovery process if it is not career ending. That lines up well with Bradford's contract being a 2-year deal and maybe then hoping they can have Bridgewater be back at full strength.

Now have to remember though with this deal the Vikings do catch a bit of a break in the fact that the Eagles are on the hook for $11 million of the $35 million he is getting this year and next. So for the Vikings it turns into a 2-year/$24 million which is pennies on the dollar for a starting QB. So that helps make it a little nicer for the Vikings to have some cap room to make some moves still.

Suppose Bradford stays healthy. That Vikings offense just got a lot better.

I am not surprised by them trading for him. I am just not sure I would give up a first round pick for Bradford who is a very limited QB. I understand the Vikings are in a situation to win now, but you don't often see teams give up a first round pick for a QB who is gonna be your starter for 1 or 2 seasons.

I like how they are all in, I just didn't expect a first round pick. I know the price for an NFL QB is heavy.

When Lynch is ready to start. I hope Elway suggests to Siemian to change his name to Sam Bradford asap

Had Fitzpatrick been on the open market when these injuries hit, he would have hit the mother-lode

First NYC, then the Super Bowl champions now one snap away from QB of America's team.

Bradford and Sanchez are like vampires they can't be killed.
