No one can say that the Sabres don't try hard, or put in a good effort, but their passing and puck control is absolutely pathetic. They also are horrible when it comes to capitalizing on their scoring chances. Too many unneeded passes and wide shots.

See, that is what's frustrating about the Sabres.

They did a great job staying in the Habs end and generating chances, but you can see how they are just off a bit on their setups and execution. They are ALMOST there, but still so far away.

A good team would have most likely scored or drawn a penalty from it.
