But Saban didn't break down and cry/fall apart when he lost.

Urbs is an emotional guy, what can I say.

I think he's plenty happy with the current layout though. Would much rather face Saban in the CFP than a divisional regular season game....so long as stupid Sparty quits fucking things up.

Instead Saban made up bullshit excuses after that Sugar Bowl loss that some of his players didn't want to get hurt for the upcoming draft. So they took the day off.

Odd, seemed to me like he adjusted and won it all the next year.

I wouldn't have said anything if I were you. Urban in the SEC is an unwinnable topic for you.

Just checked to make sure - and yes this is correct.

Doesn't change the fact that Meyer beat Saban in the most important head-to-head match up of their coaching careers. What they did last year has nothing to do w/ what happened in that Sugar Bowl game. Nice try though. You wanna act as if Saban owns Meyer but it's tied @ 3 wins a piece.

Only in your overly biased mind.

Only Ohio St fans would think that game somehow was more important.

The truth is the SEC Championship game was a de facto playoff game during the BCS era many years and had the exact same meaning as the semi-final playoff game did. If you won, you went on to the championship game, period.

Won some, lost some, but never did Saban bitch out.

But Saban did use a bullshit excuse after Ohio State beat Bama in that Sugar Bowl, something you refuse to admit. I'm not talking about the BCS era of CFB, I'm talking about the Playoff era. And what exactly does the BCS era of CFB have to do w/ the current Playoff format? That answer would be nothing.

Well duh. Obviously that year they DID want to get hurt for the upcoming draft.

Funny you should mention what Saban complained about - just the other day they changed that.

But it wasn't even an excuse, not that it's ever mattered to Ohio St fans who aren't satisfied with winning alone.

Better than a coach who skips town because he doesn't want to get hurt.

Are you referring to Saban's stint with the Miami Dolphins?

Oh you burned me with that one!

It seems I reeled in an old shoe.
