It was a penalty called against North Carolina on a Notre Dame punt.

That's the first I've ever seen it called, but apparently you can't touch the snapper until he's had a chance to protect himself.

It was definitely a "technicality" penalty.

There was contact, but it's not like he blasted the guy.

I had heard you can't line up on the long snapper but didn't know about this one.
