Uh... they gave up a 3rd and 5th and TOP 10 PICK for Rosen.

A 1st, 3rd, 5th =/= 2nd (especially when that 1st/3rd/5th should've been developing in the system due to the fact they were earlier picks).

Outside of Murray, this is a HUGE blunder for the Cards whether Murray works or not. It's a loss 100% at FACE value (obviously if Murray becomes a HOFer then fine, but it's not like the Cards did anything to secure him... they sucked ass and got the #1 overall).

On that note, do you think it's possible Arizona doubles up on QBs in this draft like Washington did when they took RG3?

End of day its:

1st + 3rd + 5th (2018) for a 2nd (2019). That's terrible. If it was 10th overall for the 3rd and 5th (lol) then fine, but it wasn't. You are one less 1st, 3rd, 5th round pick away from supplementing the current team. That's a huge deal especially considering it would've been a year ago and those picks could've developed.

No way. It will be offense of line support and weapons. They have 10 picks still.

Dolphins giving up a lot for a mediocre QB. If this deal happens, AZ lucked out big time. Rosen wasn't worth a day 2 pick, especially after the Cardinals have already selected Murray.

Miami better hope Rosen improves a lot from last year.

and helps fix the blunder... But don't forget, without the blunder, they would have likely not been able to get murray…

So maybe everything worked out for the best...

They should absolutely. Who else would trade? Dolphins are a completely inept organization and should suck this year regardless (although I did like their pick last night). The 2020 draft class is MUCH stronger especially at QB, so outside of an inept organization trading for a QB now (like the Dolphins), I can't imagine any other franchise that would do this in need of a QB right now.

Point being, the Cardinals are lucky to be getting an early 2nd as consideration. IMO Rosen is worth a 3rd or 4th at this point. He clearly doesn't care about football and is an entitled little brat. I'm SURE being in Miami will help

I think this is a great salvage...

I don't think Rosen was why they only won the amount games they did. So really the blunder is just a bad blunder in my eyes. They lost a bunch of games bc their entire team needs an upgrade minus a couple guys.

But I agree with Murray will be better than Rosen in my eyes, just how much better. But is it worth losing essentially a 1st (top 10 pick), 3rd and 5th...only time will tell.

If they get a 2nd, so be it. Once the choice to take murray was made, Rosen became a sunk cost. You can't keep him.
