Ox hasn't been heard from since yesterday when he mentioned being stuffed into a mailbox by four guys...I'm wondering if they came back to try and finish the job...

I know less about MS 13 than the Kings, so I'd be a bit biased towards the latter.

Kind of like NL/AL...

You mean you're from Ohio and you haven't heard of either of these gangs?? Shocked!

Mara Salvatrucha = El Salvadoran.

Disclaimer: Ohio IS actually known for a ton of gangs. Dickshot wasn't blowing smoke yesterday.

TSN MLB news

Derek Jeter's long-awaited season debut Thursday was cut short due to tightness in his right quad. Jeter went 1-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored in his first game of the season for the New York Yankees, who beat the Kansas City Royals by an 8-4 margin. The 39-year-old Jeter, however, did not make his last at-bat and manager Joe Girardi announced after the game that the 13-time All-Star injured his right quad. He will have an MRI. Girardi didn't seem too concerned after the game but indicated that the team captain will go for tests as a precaution. Jeter returned to the lineup after playing four minor league rehab games in his recovery from a broken left ankle. The shortstop suffered the broken ankle during Game 1 of last year's American League Championship Series against the Detroit Tigers and sustained another fracture during spring training that set his return further back. On Thursday, Jeter batted second as the designated hitter.

The Texas Rangers placed All-Star pitcher Yu Darvish on the 15-day disabled list Thursday with a strained trapezius in his right shoulder. It's Darvish's first stint on the disabled list in his big league career, and it will force him to miss next week's All-Star Game. Tampa Bay's Matt Moore was selected as his replacement. Darvish, skipped from a scheduled Thursday start against Baltimore, has an 8-4 record with a 3.02 earned run average in 18 starts for the Rangers this season and leads the majors with 157 strikeouts.

Freddie Freeman of the Atlanta Braves and Steve Delabar of the Toronto Blue Jays are going to the 2013 All-Star Game after winning the online fan vote. Major League Baseball announced the results of the Final Vote on Thursday. Baseball fans around the world supported the 10 candidates named by All-Star managers Jim Leyland and Bruce Bochy by casting a record 79.2 million votes. This year's record number of votes surpassed the previous mark of 68.6 million set in 2009.
