Darkwa, Charles and AP all going through DC..All better than Kelley in my book, but debatable if they'd be so much better that they'd actually get enough volume to be relevant

something kicking around in my head this morning--

Any chance lil brother Jay gives big brother Chucky a call? "Hey my RB's are a mash init, and what I do have is awful, can ya help a brother out?"

Does what Chris Warren has done in preseason thus far make Doug Martin expendable, or even valuable enough himself that he's the trade piece? Hard to say, as everything Warren has done came against 2's and 3's. But, it has been really impressive.

I know its a long shot, my money is still on Darkwa or AP, but given the obvious connection between HC's, would it really be that shocking to see a conditional pick head to the Raiders and Martin head to DC?

I said it somewhere, maybe even earlier on this thread, that the Washington backfield was going to be someone else's problem this season and I plan on sticking to that statement.

I don't understand why WSH wouldn't trade for a RB or at least wait until after cuts happen. There's some other teams that have crowded backfields and my gut says there are gonna be some decent backs looking for a job in a couple of weeks. Decent meaning better than AP, who looked absolutely washed imo. I'm not touching any of these backs right now, including Thompson (at least until we get better confirmation on his health).

AP had a couple big weeks last year. Edge and Emmitt managed to hold on well past their primes.

Behind good line play maybe he could put up a few useful weeks.
