RIP coach...Thank you for all the good games.

Also thank you coach and UGA for partnering with OU in 1981 to sue NCAA monopoly on televised college football. We (OU & UGA) took it all the way to the supreme court and won in June 1984. The decision was 7-2.

College football television exploded over the next 30 years. Now, virtually every game is televised. Every major conference has multiple contracts with networks, and the finances of athletic departments have mushroomed.

OU, Georgia changed college football with its lawsuit against the NCAA
