I feel your pain. When it comes to basketball, the new 15 team ACC will never capture my interest the same way the old 8-9 team ACC did.

I actually didn't mind the Les Robinson Invitational, just as long it was just one game on Thursday night. It really didn't have any type of effect on the ACC Tournament, imo. It was usually just NC State (until they got rid of Les Robinson), Florida State or Clemson just battling out to see who was the worst in a stacked conference. The 2003 ACC expansion is what had a negative effect on the ACC Tournament. The Les Robinson Round went from one pointless game on a Thursday night to four games over the course of an entire day.

Today's ACC Tournament is a complete mess. 15 teams and it includes two upcoming dates to Brooklyn in 2017 and 2018. No bueno.
