nobody should be giving the nhl credit for once again moving the goal posts. I wouldn't have an issue with this if these other incidents were being treated the same way.

if they wanted to send a message to all the players, it should have started with the subban slash.

If the Palat hit didn't happen in the same game it wouldn't stand out as much. I agree Kronwall has been playing on that edge but Palat's hit as every bit as bad if not worse for direct heat contact and clearly launching into it.

You can say that again. I've watched many, many games around the league this first round of the playoffs. To have a player suspended NOW in THIS series of all series....the NHL is a complete fucking joke on par with the refs screwing over the Lions back in the NFL playoffs.

I.e., if the Red Wings are eliminated tonight, I've watched my last hockey game of the postseason.

It was surprisingly easy for me to skip the rest of the NFL playoffs. It'll be much harder to miss the rest of the NHL playoffs and the crappy reffing in each game, plus players running at each other without further suspensions handed out, oh wait...maybe this will be easier than I first thought.

We were there a month ago for a weekend road trip. Bought tickets to the 4-0 win over Tampa on March 28th. Took my wife, kids and two of my younger brothers (also Wings fans) to the game. Had to make sure we got to the Joe before they move out.
