joey gallo...as we would say on CBS...jeter H christ...

3-4, a HR and 4 RBI, 3 runs scored...and missed a 2nd HR by inches in his debut.

why cant the redsox get prospects like this?

you know, ACTUAL legit prospects.

I was at the game last night. The place was going insane for the kid. Hard to imagine a better first day on the job.

I was joking about Betts.

It's been a while, though. How many prospects come up and slug in general, though? An extremely small percentage.

Which makes the overreactions to them not hitting in 35 games even stupider.

And it makes what Mike Trout and Bryce Harper have been doing even more impressive.

Yikes!!
Since 1900, no pitcher had ever had a game of 10+ K's, & 10+ hits in under 5 IP.
Then it happened 2 days in a row this week in San Diego.
On Monday, Andrew Cashner of the Padres did it...and Noah "Thor" Syndergaard of the Mets did it yesterday.

so david wright has spinal stenosis.

it runs in my family, i suffer from it now.

no fun.

Same here. PAIN! It ended Steve Nash's career and it probably doesn't look so good for Wright. It's hard enough to put socks on sometimes let alone playing a professional baseball game.

Damn good debut by Cravy last night for the Crew

Too bad their anemic offense couldn't have supported his effort
Its been a pretty anemic series so far. I feel like we are due for a 10-8 type of game

<looks at @bksballer89>

Is it me, or does someone who claims the Yankees, Saints and Heat as their teams, and sports an avatar of Curry seem like a front runner?

BAHAHA! Awesome. I said the same fucking thing to him.

I told him it's ghey hero worship to have Curry as his avatar and that he's too old for that shit. He told me that watching Curry gets him very excited about the NBA and makes him a better fan!

Jeff Bagwell did pretty good for a Red Sox prospect. Hanley Ramirez was decent for a few years.

I have been told that JBJ would start on the rest of the teams in MLB and that they all would be happy to have him.
