PHILADELPHIA -- Police and team officials say New York Giants linebacker Dan Connor was arrested at Philadelphia International Airport after federal authorities alleged that a switchblade was found in his luggage.




A police spokeswoman said Sunday that a Transportation Security Administration officer spotted the knife on an X-ray machine monitor as Connor was trying to enter an airport terminal at 9 a.m. Saturday.
Police were called and the 27-year-old Connor, of Charlotte, N.C., was arrested and charged with possession of an offensive weapon. The police spokeswoman said he was released on his own recognizance.
Giants spokesman Pat Hanlon said team officials were aware of the situation and have spoken to Connor, "who is cooperating with the authorities in Philadelphia."

I hate the first day back from vacation

I hate Alex Wilson

on seguin...why? i love the deal. we got a 25-30 goal scorer in his prime. seguin is too juvenile to be the focus of a team, especially the bruins. hes better off in hockey purgatory in dallas. he will be a nobody there.

some of the shit he pulled in the playoffs...wearing the same clothes 3 days in a row in the toronto series, like he just rolled out of a hangover...shit like that. adding iginla was huge.

i hate today too and i hate alex wilson

i like that the sox even after a 1-2 start to the trip are still in first...especially with names like lavarnway and holt being trotted out there
lackey has been...awesome lately...his last 5 starts...no less than 7 IP and no more than 2 ER each time. who would have thought he'd be the anchor?

world, by now, seguin should be what tayor hall is...a PPG scorer. thats the regular season. post season? 1 goal in 22 games? his head got too big here. hes "tyler seguin, 2nd overall pick who plays for the bruins". his life was off the ice, not on it here. neely tried. claude tried. the TEAM tried. seguin has all the skills in the world, and he will be a center in dallas now (not a wing). hes going to be like phil kessel. all flash, lots of hanging, no corner play. kessell is a pussy. seguins worse. that doesnt fit in boston.

time will tell, but hey...he could blow up into a 50 goal scorer and we all have egg on our faces. he could also be a 20-30 goal scorer who just never "got it". i think hes the latter.
