the Red Sox might be considered to have one of the deepest farm systems, but they don't exactly have a plethora of outfield prospects. Bryce Brentz is the 2nd highest ranked OF on Sickels' list... at 16th. Him and Hassan are not center fielders.

They *could* promote Corey Brown (the starting CF for Pawtucket), but at 28, he isn't exactly a prospect.

You guys can't trade Gomes, there has never been a more perfect match of player/team/fanbase than Gomes/Red Sox in any sport...ever.
