Where we're really going to need perspective is after June. With all the road games, and our current injury and pitching woes, I have to think we'll probably go 12-14 or somesuch, and be 3-4 games out of first at the end of the month. We should make it back in July and August, but the gang will be annoying.

That AZ-Pitt-Atl road trip will be especially brutal.

With all the road games, and our current injury and pitching woes, I have to think we'll probably go 12-14 or somesuch, and be 3-4 games out of first at the end of the month. We should make it back in July and August, but the gang will be annoying.

as much as I agree with this .... it always seems that when we are facing a real bad situation we seem to always find a way to get past it ... it's the damn games/teams that I feel should do well agaisrt that things go south. Sort of like 7-2 with AZ/PITT/ATL then followed by 5-7 with SD/MIA/LA/COL

Anything close to .500 would be wonderful.

I think I heard today that the Giants are near the bottom in road ERA, and that Pittsburgh is at the top in home ERA. Atlanta pitches well at home as well.
