I'm not really sure why Tannehill was brought into the conversation, given he has yet to play in, let alone, win a playoff game.

Cutler, Manning, and Flacco are basically the same player, in that they all are equally erratic, but show just enough greatness to maintain their status as legit franchise QBs.

With that being said.....

1. Eli
2. Flacco
3. Cutler
4. Tannehill

well read the whole thread and you will see I stated exactly why those 4 qb's were chosen

Eli gets a pass from critique cuz he's got 2 rings and 2 SB MVPs...

Deservedly??? :noidea:

I think Cutler is one of the most underappreciated QBs in the NFL, and Flacco is an extremely clutch QB with a ton of postseason success. All of these guys except Tannehill are underrated IMO.

?????? I guess I've watched a different Flacco, the one I watched had one amazing playoff run, take that away he's a game over .500 and in a few of this wins he was god awful.

Jus about every QB's status takes a hit if you remove their best postseason run. Rodgers is 3-6 in the postseason if you take away his 2010 SB run.

Flacco was the first QB in NFL history to have at least 1 win in every season of his career (I think up until last season). His WR (Evans) dropped an easy, would-be, winning TD like 5 years ago in the AFCCG.

Contrast that with overrated, loser QBs like Matt Ryan and Andy Dalton who put up good stats in the regular season and suck in the playoffs. I'll take clutch guys who thrive under pressure (Eli) over guys like that any day.

Cutler's lacking in leadership qualities and playoff success, but I think his biggest problem has been the fact that he couldn't stay healthy. He also had one of the worst OLs I've ever seen for a few years. Put him on a team w/ an OL the past 5 years, and I think he would've at least made it to a couple of NFCCGs.

I understand that but one of Flacco PO wins he had a 10 rating, yes a damn 10. He is a average QB who had ONE amazing playoffs. That's all he is nothing more than average.

1a) Flacco - he's too inconsistent, so I view him as average.
1b) Manning - he's a turnover machine that makes him, statistically speaking, very average.
1c) Cutler - he's a basic, average QB with above average arm strength, so overall, I'd say he's average.
2) Tannehill - there have been flashes where he looks like he could become a good QB, but potential only gets you so far. Either develope into a franchise passer, or be prepared to get passed over. It's starting to be make or break it time for him.

Manning - turns it over a lot, but he makes up for that with touchdowns and yards, plus two Super Bowls
Flacco - inconsistent, but he someone turns elite in the playoffs
Tannehill - I think Gase will do wonders for him, I expect him to have a huge year this season
Cutler - I wouldn't touch Cutler with a 39 and a half foot pole

Its like comparing a Altima to a Camry. Both average and predictable. Nothing special but I guess dependable....well maybe not Cutler

That was an ugly game. But he only had 10 pass attempts because the Ravens got up early and ran the ball 52 times. That was also his second year. He's been to the playoffs 4 times since then and has been consistently good, over that span he's averaged a 105 PR in the postseason, 96 outside of the SB run.

I don't think it should be scoffed at that he has NEVER been 1 and done.

Not to mention Flacco was injured that game and the game was pretty one sided from the start

Curious theres a reason for these 4

J. Flacco
Eli Manning
R. Tannehill
J. Cutler

I notice you put Flacco 1st on the list, so your real feelings have already shown up....But I would go

Eli 1A
Flacco 1B.......only because Eli has accomplished 2 SB wins and Flacco only 1 but in less time in NFL.
Tanny
Cutler
