I'm really getting sick oh Wash's notion that he has to get Torrealba in the lineup multiple times a week. Especially at the expense of leaving Snyder out who's been so good so far. Torrealba is trash at the plate, and he's trash behind it.

I sure miss Teagarden. At least Wash didn't try to get him into the lineup multiple times a week thereby keeping his "offensive punch" on the bench.

If Torrealba was a FA (which he will be at the end of the year) he will get zero interest anywhere. TEX needs to find a defensively competent and offensively average backup by the ASB.

Napoli is simply more effective offensively and far superior defensively ... which tells you the state of the TEX catching corps.

Just like Brandon Snyder has been a very pleasant surprise over carrying a spare 5th OF ... Luis Martinez as backup C could be lightning too.

You can question his game-calling all you want but in all fairness theres a lot of subjectivity in that, it based a lot on what you think you see, when there might be any difference at all

Torrealba might in fact call a worse game than Napoli, but I think you've created a bit of that in your mind due to many of you and others dislike for Torrealba as a player
