As good as Duran has been with the bat he’s already had 3 errors in only 9 games.

i would give Huff the error on that plate. and i would have replaced Huff after the 2nd at bat he looked lost and brought in Heim

Plenty of blame to share in this one.

Seager is seasoned. Duran and Huff are not
No real hard fast late inning roles for Bush and King. No real continuity. May take some time for the young guys. And some turnover for the pitchers

Duran has been a stop gap for a role we thought Jung would have and the others prior underperformed. Yes it helped cost gems but I will show more patience for this guy. He could easily grow into role and maybe even supplant JUng. He is a talent

Yes it would but bottom line is what happened. I can not excuse the fact that Huff and Duran was the last line of defense and failed. It was not a difficult play to make. Huff made a high throw but could have been caught and wasn't. Both of these guys are on my support list but making excuses for them is not.

Just wanting to point out that there was more to the loss besides Duran missed catch. Thought that was pertinent to subject Giving up a 2 run shot did not help. Total team loss as I see it

Tinoco and Durán were, even if the Rangers didn’t say so, supposed to be fourth and fifth on that list. Durán was pressed into service at a position (third base) that he had only played for seven games in the minor leagues. Tinoco is also a replacement player, and not on the 40-man roster.

But both have done their dead-level best to make the most of the opportunity and make the decision difficult for the front office.

What to do with these 2?

why don't the Rangers put Eli White on the 60-day and elevate one of the real good prospects to the 40 and bring them up? White's doctors have said 6 to 8 weeks of absolutely no baseball activities, and he will need a number of weeks to get back in playing form.
