Since I wear a tinfoil hat, I'm going to say the NFL and Rams conspired to do something with the turf at the Jones dome. It will be an ongoing issue this year, and it will fuel the fire to move back to LA.

The NFL should be in LA anyway, whether it's the Rams, expansion, Raiders or something else it makes no sense to me that the 2nd biggest city in the Us doesn't have a team in the biggest sport.
