John Clayton had an article on mynorthwest.com that suggested we'll see what we've pretty much been speculating about for the entire off-season, and that is that Quinn is going to blitz more, be more creative schematically than Bradley was and use more man-to-man than Bradley did.

THat is great news, the last few years I have pulled my hair out every time we play zone. The Seahawks have the personel to match up man, and yet they'd just get murdered in the zone. The less zone played, the better.

That's great news.... Bradley I lost all respect for after that Chicago playoff game on the road.. Where we sat in zone coverages all dam night long when it was PROVEN earlier in the year blitzing Cutler screws up his head... So Bradley made sure he was nice and cozy all night long with no blitzes... Even the players spouted off after the game... Bradley sucks at strategy...

What I want to see is better pressure on opposing QBs. Either thru better personnel or more aggressive strategy or both.

I think we got both.

Good bye to that soft zone crap. So tired of seeing QB's march down the field hitting wide open receivers. This secondary has big play making abilities and more man to man defensive schemes will create a lot more turnovers and I believe a few more defensive TD's as well.

man to man only works so well though without a good pass rush

If they can't generate a pass rush, then yes by the end of the year these guys will be fried. Hopefully with the new additions that won't be a problem again.
