QB help

My normal QB, even though he hasn't been great, is Matt Ryan on bye this week. Right now I've got Carson Palmer slated to start. I'm intrigued though with Brian Hoyer this week against the Bucs. I'm hurting in the league with a 2-6 record and this is pretty much a must win game for me, should I take the chance on Hoyer or stay safe with Palmer?
