QB controversy in Philly??

Reports are that Chip Kelly is willing to do whatever it takes to get Marcus Mariota in Philly which means he is not commited to Nick Foles. Now I do not think Mariota falls to #10, but the Eagles will be searching high and low for draft picks after giving up the farm to get MM

Here is my question to the Ramily. What price would you pay to the Eagles to bring Foles in as the "competition from outside of the building"? I would NOT give them anything this year unless we indeed trade down ourselves a couple times to obtain more picks. I think the most I would do is a future first rounder alone. Most realistic would be a 3rd rounder this year and a future 3rd rounder.

Whatcha think? First, would you want him and second, what would you give up?

By the way, if MM did somehow fall to #10, I sure as hell would take another RGIII type deal and move down to #20, get 2 future firsts and a couple picks in 2015 and STILL get TJ Clemmings or Ereck Flowers!!!

If Mariota fell to #10, I would just draft him. Rams can't keep postponing the QB position.

I can see Tampa Bay trading the #1 pick to the Eagles for Nick Foles, OL Lane Johnson, and their #1.

With Sam's inability to stay healthy the Rams need a legitimate #1 on the sidelines. That's going to be hard to do. Don't think Foles is the guy.

I'd be extremely shocked if he fell past 6th with the Jets in desperate need for a QB. I think it's obvious Tampa will go QB with their first pick. I'm not so sure about the Titans though since I've heard they have high hopes for Mettenberger.

I think the Rams will likely have to take him in the 2nd by the time we get to the draft, but it could go the other way for all I know, lol.

ChipKelly isn't that stupid to show his cards already. Especially after Mariota has dropped in many polls. It's the media, asking him a question about it.. then printing BS that Chip is going after MM.

I'm sure Chip would take him, but why is coming out in JAN and declaring?

Rams are a young team building. They need to add another young QB to the mix and see if the bar gets raised.

Some of these youngsters just don't get the NFL and how GM's play their draft games. If some of these fellows are not careful, similar to Brady Quinn, they could lose millions and have their career trashed before it gets started. You don't want to take these next couple of months lightly if you have any modicum of brains between the ears.

i think Hundley ends up going at the end of the 1st when all is said and done.

that will push all the other QB's up a notch as well.
